Solt Dining
Located in the urban-style “Courtyard Vilnius City Center” hotel, “Solt Dining” features a Scandinavian-inspired interior with earthy tones.
The cosiness of the place is created by small touches such as live herbs, arranged cookery books, paintings made with unique techniques and a cosy, smouldering, exclusive fireplace.
“Solt Dining” is proud of the fact that the restaurant uses not only local, Lithuanian products, but also interior details that have come mainly from Lithuanian producers, from the chandeliers to the tables.
The soul and pride of the restaurant is Chef Jevgenijus Volkovas, a member of the Lithuanian National Chef Team and the best chef of 2016. A man whose diligence and love for food is best reflected on the plate. Jevgenijus enjoys the light stress and excitement of creativity, but his temperament differs from the usually very “smart” kitchen managers, which is perhaps why he quickly finds a rapport with his team members. And while the current team is young and driven, the kitchen is calm and listening.
“Solt Dining” is a modern kitchen combining the flavours of Northern Europe and the Baltics, with Lithuanian produce playing the lead role. The restaurant’s menu is not large, but presents itself through seasonality and a modern interpretation of dishes.
