Markučiai Park

It is a small cozy park with ponds in the center. There are no walking trails here, so it is better to go to Markučiai if you want to spend time in nature, eat a sandwich, and drink coffee. Next to the natural part of the park, there is a 19th century building on the hill. on the other side, a wooden villa was built, where the Markučiai manor museum operates, nearby – St. Varvara chapel, cemetery. Markučiai Park is located right next to the railway – it will appeal to those who like to watch trains, and if you go to the other side, you can go down a steep slope to Vilnius. You can reach Markučiai by bus, but you won’t get lost even if you walk – Subačiaus Street, which starts in the Old Town, continues for about 2.5 km and leads directly to Markučiai.
