Bread Bakery “Joffė’s Duoninė”

“Joffė’s duoninė” is located near the railway and bus stations, on the busy V. Šopeno g.  with impressive buildings of old architecture. From early in the morning, the street is buzzing with arriving and departing tourists and guests of the city, many of them capturing the facades of the houses on the street with their cameras or mobile phones. R. Idzel’s “Angel” located in the window of “Joffė’s duoninė” not only attracts the attention of passers-by, but also arouses curiosity and invites you to come inside, where you are greeted by the owner A. Joffė, who always smiles through his mustache. We look around – the interior is nothing special, a few works of art, an old piano in the corner, the shelves are full of goods like in other stores. However, the unique atmosphere here, delicious “Kimbo” coffee, real French croissants, freshly baked Italian ciabatta with locally produced garlic butter attract not only neighbors and residents of the surrounding streets, but also guests of the city. Here you can not only buy fresh Lithuanian bread, but also have a delicious breakfast, lunch or otherwise have a cozy and pleasant time. And the piano is always waiting for someone to play the keys.

There is an opportunity to purchase farmer’s produce (vegetables, fruit, meat or other products), gourmet produce, organic products, bread, pies, cakes, sandwiches.
