Walking through the world in Šnipiškės

From Europe to Asia

Through his letters, Gediminas, the Grand Duke of Lithuania, invited the brave and hard-working people of the world to Vilnius, and encoded our city with national, religious and self-expressive diversity.

This time, the route through Šnipiškės and its surroundings invites you to the right bank of the Neris River to marvel at the abundance of geographical directions, place names of distant and close countries and cities, ethnic communities, and global histories. We will see Vilnius as a city of people curious to explore, brave enough to travel far, open to accept and try, and celebrate its youth and diversity as we get to know it.

It also allows us to combine curiosity to explore with outings and games in playgrounds, gardens and parks, which are like a race to see who can show and tame nature in the city in a more imaginative, original way.
