Experience a History Of Your Own Pilgrimage in Vilnius

Christian heritage in a multicultural city - from religious battles to St Christopher's coat of arms

This route is aimed at practising Christians and those interested in the history of religion. Although Vilnius has been a multicultural city for a long time, the Christian spirit has dominated the city for many centuries, and the traces it has left behind are worthy of the curious traveller’s attention.

On this route, you will get to know the most famous religious figures of Lithuania and Vilnius, be transported back in time to the fierce struggle between pagans and Christians, and find out why the coat of arms of Vilnius depicts St. Christopher. Those who think that pilgrimage routes can only be found in Spain, Italy or Israel will be pleasantly surprised.
