VVJ Art Gallery

It is an unconventional space for cultural events in the cultural panorama of Vilnius and the whole country. Its emergence in 2004 is a gratifying result of cooperation between public and private initiatives. The founders of the Gallery are the Vilnius City Municipality and the Jūratė Stauskaitė Vilnius Children and Youth Art School.

The main objectives of the gallery are to educate the visitor of the contemporary art gallery and to grow and expand the audience of consumers of art and culture; to form an active participation of children and young people in the cultural life of the city and the country; to organise creative educational sessions to introduce children and young people to new forms of art; to invite interesting and original authors, artists, and creators of various fields of work, to give creative sessions.
