Visitor center of Pavilniai and Verkiai regional parks

In the renovated premises of the Verkiai manor pavilion, there are nature study rooms and an exposition presenting Pavilniai and Verkiai regional parks. Although both regional parks are the smallest in Lithuania, the abundance of cultural heritage and natural values is not inferior to their bigger brothers. Visitors to this center will be surprised to learn how many protected species of animals and plants live in these areas, how they have adapted to live in the city. In the center, you can not only smell the peach-scented insects whose breath can be felt in the oak groves during mating, but also see the real anthill! The visitor has the opportunity to view the mounds from the flight of a bat and create his own terrain! The visitor center of Pavilniai and Verkiai regional parks is located in one of the buildings of the Verkiai manor homestead, therefore special attention was paid to the Verkiai manor homestead. This mansion is more than 600 years old!!! There will be enough of  legends and stories  for even the most curious.
