Vincas Mykolaitis-Putinas memorial apartment-museum
In Vincas Mykolaitis-Putinas’ apartment-museum, you can not only view preserved authentic furniture, books, paintings and personal belongings of the writer, but also listen to them. The ASMR project in the museum allows you to listen to the strangest sounds of the museum exhibits with special headphones, which not only expands the experience of visiting the museum, but also slows down time, perhaps reminds you of something pleasant, calms, relaxes. ASMR (acronym for Autonomic Sensory Meridional Response) refers to the physical sensation: euphoria or deep calm, sometimes body tingling, caused by a hyper-realistic audio experience. The museum focuses on both personal and community experiences while acting as a platform for budding creators, artist exhibitions, and contemporary and experimental music concerts.
