The Verkiai Regional Park cycle path

In addition to routes in urbanised areas, Vilnius offers some fun routes in the countryside for cyclists. One of the best is in the Verkiai Regional Park. You can start from the Santariškės roundabout or the Verkiai Palace complex. Following the route, you’ll reach the Green Lakes, a favourite of Vilnius residents, whose water is coloured by the abundant dissolved carbonates. The Verkiai Regional Park is also full of unmarked forest paths that will revitalise those who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city.
