The Rooster Gallery

“The Rooster Gallery” is one of the most active participants in the Lithuanian art scene and market. The Rooster Gallery has been working exclusively with artists of the younger generation for the past ten years, promoting young painting, searching for the most promising talents and representing trends in contemporary painting. The gallery’s consistent international activity and the wide network of contacts it has established have led to the international recognition of a number of young painters. The gallery is unique in that it does not have a permanent exhibition space and exhibits artists’ works in different spaces: it is looking for alternative forms of display, highlighting the work of a particular artist and offering new ways of reading the artwork. The exhibitions organised by the gallery have opened up spaces, lofts and interiors of historical buildings that are usually inaccessible to the public.
