Skóg
Skóg in Icelandic means ‘forest.’ It is a restaurant offering a multi-course tasting dinner inspired by Lithuanian forests and landscapes, interpreted through a Nordic lens.
Based on the use of seasonal ingredients and a strong commitment to sustainability, each menu is a thoughtfully crafted journey of discovering nature through food. The creative core is Chef Arnór Ingi Bjarkason, from Reykjavik, Iceland, the first chef in Lithuania to receive a Michelin Green Star for his commitment to sustainable culinary arts. The restaurant and service are led by Lina Marija Balčiūnaitė, from Vilnius, who received the Michelin Service Award in 2025.

The tasting menu is a complete culinary journey through northern flavors with elements of Lithuania and a touch of Japanese spice. Like nature, the menu changes, so it would be difficult to recommend a single standout dish, but after completing the entire journey, it is worth waiting for the finale, where a bite arrives straight from the forest – a caramel candy with thyme, rolled in dried porcini mushrooms.
