Šeškinės Esker (Os)

Between Šeškinės, Fabijoniškių, Baltupių, Geležinio Vilko Streets and the Akropolis mall, there is a beautiful natural oasis. Its most significant feature is Šeškinės Esker, a unique snake-shaped landform formed by a melting glacier. A few years ago, this natural monument was landscaped, with walking trails and information boards. The landscape is beautiful from several higher points and below, there is a small thermokarst lake next to the esker. It is a good place to read a book or even have a nap. In the nearby woods, you will often see a hedgehog or a squirrel. This corner of the city is also great for cycling.
