Markučiai Manor Museum

The Markučiai Manor Museum was established in the former residence of Grigorij and Varvara Puškin in Markučiai Manor.

The museum ensemble consists of a former manor house, an 18-hectare park with ponds, family burial grounds, St. Varvara chapel and monument to A. Pushkin. The memorial exhibition consists of 6 authentically furnished 19th century houses. end rooms. Visitors can see historical photos of the Markučiai manor and family photos of Varvara and Grigorijus, a number of household items and works of art from that time.

The Markučiai Manor Museum stores more than 8,000 exhibits – late 19th – early 20th century furniture, household items, manuscripts, photographs and photo negatives, books and other publications, as well as exhibits acquired by the museum in 1940 – 2005. Art, literature, photography, numismatics, applied art and other exhibitions are regularly organized in the museum.
