The Lithuanian Art Centre TARTLE

TARTLE, the Lithuanian Art Cognition Centre, houses one of the largest private art collections in the Baltic States, built up over more than 20 years.

The Lithuanian collection of nearly 8,000 objects includes paintings, sculptures, historical and artistic graphic works, old maps of the GDL, books and other printed materials published before 1905, as well as examples of goldsmithing, photographs, and various historical artifacts. The exhibitions at the museum, which opened in 2018, present Lithuania’s past and its social, political and artistic contexts through artworks and other visual sources.

The exhibition can be visited independently or in a guided tour format by purchasing a ticket in advance at tartle.lt
