Cultural socialisation place “Laiptinė”

The staircase is a place of cultural socialisation for young people. The layout of our bar space already shows this from the first step.

The amphitheatre-shaped space naturally invites visitors to interact with each other, to be together with strangers but at the same time like-minded people. This is quite a bold challenge and an experiment to change people’s attitudes towards places and social principles.

Our selective range of drinks is also a highlight. We choose small and local producers, always looking for something new and unique. We don’t try to be “crowd pleasers”. We are currently working and collaborating with small breweries and as a result we have the opportunity to offer something you won’t find in other bars in the capital.

Another less visible thing in Vilnius bars is Laiptinės’ Cocktails on Tap. We have the opportunity to work directly with a small cocktail lab/mill in Italy. Their uniqueness is the use of natural products during the cocktail production process: fruits, herbs and organic wine. Our desire now is not only to change people’s perception of premade products, but also to give you the opportunity to taste something you won’t find anywhere else in the Baltic States.

In the summer, we invite you to enjoy the revitalised Margučio Square. During the warmer months we will try to entertain you with a DJ and live performances every 5th evening. We want the square to be enjoyed not only by the “bench mohicans” of the Old Town, but also by the citizens and visitors and to resonate with our beloved Vilnius.
